Also......
For those of you who listen to the show, and get the downloads of the day, I'm thinking about ways of archiving the links. Would you go to a blog which listed those links? Would that work? Let me know, I'll muse on this some more while I'm at work.

OK, here's some news for you....
I've toyed with the idea for quite some time, but i've finally done it.
I've started up a little mp3 blog. Here it is: Down With Tractors. My first post (and mp3) is up there, it's all on fileden at the moment, i'll be checking the demand to see if I need to host it elsewhere......
I'll also migrate the links to the mp3 blogs over to DWT (when I get a minute!)

Get on this quickly......
Techcrunch has got 10 thousand invites to Joost's beta launch.....FYI, it's web TV, 2.0 style, and it's great....lots of ads at the moment, and slightly fragmented content, but it's still one of those apps (download required) that'll impress your mates......

It's interesting to note the meteoric rise of youtube and its effect on blog posts like that one: last year, I can remember all the "Best Video" blog posts, and NONE were composed of solid 'tube action at all.....

Well, here it really lays its colours down in support of the incredible Johnny Boy, whose debut single "You Are The Generation That Bought More Shoes And You Get What You Deserve" was one of the most heart-stoppingly fabulous records of the last 5 years. Why it wasn't MASSIVE still irks me enormously.........

Nice look back at Nick Lowe, one of the pioneering figures of the Punk scene ( he was not really a punk himself, but he put out the first single on Stiff Records AND produced the first Damned album....)

Saddest news of the week was the sudden death of Wiz, the driving force behind Mega City 4, RIP Wiz, you'll be missed.
