It might seem geeky, but the implications are bigger than you might think. I suspect that those implications will start to show themselves once the dust settles. It's not even about whether we even USE the key, it's about the power that communities have, and also how they choose to exercise that power, for better or for worse.

Yes.....point taken, but the other side of that is that Digg was bullied by a mob. a mob intent on forcing its will through...
Both sides have been bruised by this...
