Facebook seems to be about drawing a line around all the people you know know, mixed up with old acquaintances, randon schoolfriends, brief flings, that sort of thing...it just feels finite. With Twitter, you can monitor conversations, get a feel for how people communicate, follow them, send them messages...and it leads to something which expands your horizons.
