And this one's for Mike.....

who was musing (see comments in previous post) over the identity of the music i'd play at the start of the X-list. It's a sneaky little loop from the start of this tune: "Making Music" by Chungking.

Ha ha ha!!! Brilliant!! Between you and Shaun Keaveny's old Led Zep backing track I wasted many an hour sitting in the office thinking "now where have I heard that before..."

That brings back some memories!

I'm definitely gonna make the effort to see them at Big Chill this weekend now!

Anyone else gonna be there?

Thank you! I'll have to wait until lunchtime until I can stick the headphones into the computer (yes I am a corporate office monkey, down with capitalism, long live scenesters etc etc) but I can already hear it in my head. I am definately indebted to you. I know I'm pushing my luck but I also spent ages trying to nail that Keavney Led Zep bed - I have a live version of a track called The Girl I Love She Has Long Wavy Hair, or something like that, you may have to re-arrange those words into a different order, and I think that's the track but I can't be sure. Could you put me out of my misery and name that one too?

For the record, I won those gig tickets but texting in to say that something both idle and wild is falling asleep on safari. That was a good gig, they were their own support in that they came out and did an acoustic set, went away then came back with some amps for the main show. Good times.

Cheers for that, and that is a genuine heartfelt show of thanks and gratitude, I'll have to download that track when I'm back at the parent's house (I've embarked on the 'London life' in Lewisham which at the moment consists of commuting, solitare, having free newspapers flung at me come 5pm and not having the will power to go back into the city I came to explore at the weekend because I've trapsed in every other day this week already) and put it on my iPod so I can listen to it at 1pm sharp every day. I might even stand to attention whilst doing it. With my trousers around my ankles. Who knows. Thank you very much.

they were indeed..I'd still love to get back in that studio, switch off the bloody computer at 1pm, fire up that Chungking bed, and then rattle straight into Lemon Jelly, or Harvey Danger......
